Simple Method to Earn Points for the Senate:

1. Activate the Peace Shield:
   Protect your city from attacks while building your army and collecting silver.

2. No Attacks on Other Players:
   As long as the shield is active, you're safe and can develop your city.

3. Deactivate the Shield in Time:
   Just before the Clash of the Throne (CoT) event ends, remove the shield (e.g., by attacking an inactive neighboring city).

4. Attack the Shadow City:
   After deactivating the shield, launch several attacks on the Shadow City to collect points for the Senate and lots of Conquest Points (CP)

The "Hard" Way:

1. Expect Attacks:
   Without a shield, you will likely be attacked. Minimize enemy gains by keeping resources below the protected limit (check Capitol → Statistics → Resources).

2. Manage Silver Wisely:
   Open clan chests only if you plan to spend the silver immediately.

3. Avoid Losing Conquest Points (CP):
   Keep no troops in your city to prevent enemies from earning CP.

4. Leave Walls Destroyed:
   If your city walls are breached, don’t repair them until the event ends—this reduces enemy interest.

5. Protect Troops When Offline:
   Send them to the Clan Fort, where they are safe under the ROE.

6. Attack Strong Opponents for Maximum Points:
   Target players of equal or higher strength for CoT and CP points. This yields the most points but risks heavy troop losses.

7. Activate All Relevant Buffs:
   Use army strength, health, CP bonuses, and VIP to maximize your effectiveness.

8. Ensure a Constant Silver Supply:
   Always have enough silver to rebuild your army.
